Very happy to share my NEW portfolio, with the driest code I've had so far, thanks to React 😄
I built my first portfolio when I first started the 100Devs cohort last year!! It was definitely time for a revamp 🤩 I'm loving the simplicity.

I'm very proud to announce that after 68+ hours of designing, breaking, scroll wheeling, frustration, learning, and celebration, my client's website is live! This was a from-scratch, mostly solo, mostly front-end project and I loved every second of it.

• got my nails done 💅🏼
• got an actual haircut style…
ok I’m just gonna say it. I expect men of tech to be more intelligent and of higher caliber than most men. with that being said, if you’re seriously feeding into the discourse that fuels the hate against women, and further perpetuating a male dominated field, you should be deeply

I was so nervous I didn’t even show up until lunch time. but I showed up.
just got off the call with the eng director and I’m currently sobbing because I’m pretty sure I’m *finally* seeing all of my hard work and sacrifices come to fruition
I couldn't just have my first job in tech and build a company from the ground up in peace man 😪 I did a lot of cool shit in that one single month. it really hurts that it's all gone now...

How I made the most out of attending my first ever tech conference as a "newer" developer and how I navigated large-group socializing as a woman with autism:
and reach out to your fucking friends.
if you haven’t talked to a friend in a week or so, ask them whats their favourite thing they did this week.
when someone pops into ur head, tell them!! tell them u are thinking of them.
please, love out loud.
we need each other.
day 6 of finding out everything in javascript is an object:
i still cannot trust; i have built walls and barricades around my heart as i yearn for connection that i may never allow myself to have. there is no peace. there is only…

it's crazy that when I open my fridge and see it completely full and it's all healthy foods, I have flashbacks of my childhood, opening the fridge to see nothing except things like ketchup and mustard. there were so many days where I had to knock on doors or stay at a friends

Corbin has one of the biggest hearts in this community. I was alongside them during the Butter journey and we tried mitigating and helping Dan. Corbin especially was so incredibly patient, and their empathy knows NO bounds. Even when I would get so fed up with Dan shit, Corbin

how about when I was working with a small startup and three people on the team who were friends with each other decided to dig to find my IG and tik tok, and then messaged the CEO saying I looked promiscuous and they felt I couldn’t be trusted (bc of my looks?) and also claimed
Ooooh here’s my fave. This is a real person in tech. They found my IG and I had to put it on private 🥰
They responded REALLY WELL to this feedback and apologized. That almost never happened. The reason I responded was because of their continuous public engagement and care.
This was incredibly well explained! Please spare a few minutes of your time to learn some new methods for increasing accessibility!
