I understand gameplans change by opponent, and you also have to take the shots the defense gives you. But it’s wild how much better State is offensively when they aren’t relying on the 3.

That was a really good half for State. Played well on both ends of the floor. Free throws and the one thing keeping this close. Need to build off it.

I don’t care what anyone says. A sea of cowbells is no where close to being as annoying as a singular fan screaming or whistling throughout the game. The cowbells become a drone and almost just background noise. One person being a dork sticks out and sucks way worse.

@BCrawford247 The expectation in Starkville is that Shapen is the starter. There’s even been talk that had MVB returned they were still going to approach the offseason with Shapen as the #1. I’m sure Kromenhoek will be a chance, but he was mostly added because they needed a good backup

I’ll say this, Jans was clearly beat up in the postgame after MU. It was evident he was bothered with that performance more than normal. Hopefully it’s a spark to flip things around. They need a reset. Maybe that was it.
