My average weekend:
✔️I wake up on Saturday excited for the infinite Magic events I'm gonna play
✔️I scrub them all
✔️I spend the entire Sunday night watching depressing asian movies
✔️I wake up on Monday at 2 PM with headache. I log in on mtgo to play the modern prelim
Hey everyone! I wrote a not-so-short primer about the deck I played in Bologna: Jund Creativity. Yes, that includes a free sideboard guide! If you enjoy it don't forget to like and follow, so I can get more popular than Taylor Swift.
I made this objectively correct modern banlist chart and I'm sure everyone will agree on my takes. Feels good to contribute to the discussion with the best possible opinion.
13th in Sofia with this list, loved the archetipe, it gives Inverter vibes. Lost two win and ins for top8, but still super happy for the qualification. First PT here I come!

@GabrieleNardel7
Went 7-1 in the pioneer challenge and suddenly my PC stopped working and I timed out in the quarters. Currently want to crush something. Deck is amazing but losing like this is just too tilting.
Split the finals of the Pioneer Challenge with this. Deck may or may not have legs; the good thing about it is that Creativity for X=2 is good again. The bad thing is that your cheap interaction sucks. Still the Creativity master btw.
8-2 in the Showcase with trusty Phoenix. In a shocking twist of events, Ancestral Recall is still the best card in the format. Dunno why people keep playing Shredder over TiTi, makes very little sense to me.
Top8'd the pioneer challenge on the back of my 3 (three) Urabrask's Forge. Netdeck'd the list from _Falcon_ (dunno who you are, I'd love to tag you for credit) and it definitely felt sweet. Plenty of room for improvement too!
Made top 16 in LMS Sofia with Cascade Beans. Really like my decklist, thanks to
@Stormguyisme
for suggesting Jace, it was sick! Camioncio team did pretty well, 3 out of the 4 that were present qued for Ghent! See you there!
Top 4 in the pioneer challenge with the broken deck. Secrets of the Key confirmed as a playable card. I think Creativity is still well positioned in the meta.
I'm finally home, time for some good pics of the decks I played!
First off, the boring Living End that put me in the finals of the main event.
List is 75/75 from
@MtgSodek
Only way to get successful:
-find best deck
-learn it inside and out
-for big events submit sweet decklists of unknown archetipes you see on twitter 10 minutes before the start
-regret it
- 0-2 every time
- now you have plenty of time to be successful in what matters
-cry in bed

7-2, likely top16. Thanks to
@misplacedginger
for the free sb guide. First big tournament on modo in a while, not too bad of a result.
Won the first RCQ of the season with Niv. Thought the deck was a meme but it's actually pretty good. This Up the Beanstalk card was pretty good, we should try it in modern.
@CamioncioTeam
Lost in top8 of the pioneer challenge with this. Super stoked to top8 two challenges in a week after not playing modo for like 2 months. This deck is great, I think it'll be a real contender in the format. Wasn't sure if Kaya's Ghostform bugged or not, would be a great addition
Got destroyed in the quarters of the showcase, but hey, making top8 is the important thing: looking forward to play some high stakes mtg again! Also I'm super proud of the work I put into the archetipe: check out the sb guide on the patreon and AMA if you have doubts.
#TACteam
Won my rcq with stock murktide. Top8'd 4 rcqs out of 6 this season, guess I got decent at paper Magic again (I even remember my baubles trigger most of the times). Thanks to
#TeamCamioncio
as always. See you in Sofia!
#baugg
4-0d the prelim with a broken deck (it's broken bc
@IsThatTrueHero
thinks it sucks). I like the UG shell and I think Atraxa is busted, but I don't usually play legacy, so the direction taken by this list may be wrong.
Missed the pioneer showcase because I'm dumb and I forgot to register until it was too late😅I really wanted to play so I joined the legacy one even tho I hadn't play the format in two years, luckily I'm still very good at taking microdecisions and sequencing
@yamakiller_MTG
honestly rate yourself
looks: don't care I'm a modo grinder
creativity: for X=2
humor: 10/10
mental health: Is it some kind of food?
patience:no
empathy: only when I win
social skills: I play mtgo sorry
commit: memory (this is the worst joke ever made my humor sucks)
Grandma got Covid (she's ok but quarantined), so Christmas lunch got cancelled. Top4'd the pioneer Challenge instead. Thanks to
@CamioncioTeam
as always. Merry Christmas y'all!
Classic saturday night where I top8 the pioneer challenge and then proceed to play like shit in the quarters bc I'm half asleep. Deck's sweet tho. Thanks to
@PiemontiAndrea
@Malowless14
@IsThatTrueHero
@Stormguyisme
for keeping me company between rounds.
Lost in top8 of the Pioneer Showcase. Went 5-0 in the swiss and then made a close call in the g3 of the top8 that ended up costing me the game. Big thanks to
@claudiohmtg
for tuning the deck, I basically copied his list.
@TaCTeam9
Forgot to post this morning bc it was 7 am, but I've made the finals of the Pioneer challenge. I like the remuval split quite a lot, I think PWK is just bad with so many Atraxas in the field. Sb needs some tweaks. Props to
@CamioncioTeam
as always.
Lost the quarters of the standard chally bc I'm watching Sanremo and didn't pay enough attention to my match (made some questionable choice). Deck's still cracked in an open meta.
Top8'd the modern challenge with an experimental take on Nadu. Would revert to Green Pact instead of Ring tbh. Tagging
@PiemontiAndrea
because he told me something about reach I didn't understood.
Logged onto Mtgo this afternoon, started a warm-up league. First match I got unlucky and lost, hated it. So I decided not to be unlucky anymore. 4-1d the league and locked the top8 in the showcase. You love to see it.
Top8'd the Pioneer challenge but I was too tired to brag about it. Played horribly, the tournament starts waaaay too late and I'm getting older. Never played the deck before, I like it in paper but sometimes you draw the wrong part and die doing nothing.
People satisfied by a mere refund of their entry fees from
@MagicOnline
don't value their time, their schedule and their testing high enough. That's the tweet.
Made top 4 in the Standard Challenge this night. I think Grixis is the best deck in the format bc it has game vs everything and has a great mix of cheap answers & grindy threats; still don't like my grip on it. Sb is far from perfect. Thanks for
@CamioncioTeam
for the company.
Got my second showcase token for this cycle with a nice 4-0 into scoop in standard. Netdecked
@CKikidis
because I've never won a match vs him in my entire life so he should be good. Deck's nice, but I think Cavern is net negative for this format in terms of fun.
Did you know?
@manatraders
cares so much about you having an healthy relationship with the game that when they notice you're getting too addicted they run out of Mishra's Bauble so you can't play anymore! Thanks so much Manatraders!
Finally home after Ghent. Started 7-2, but in day 2 the wheel fell off and I closed 9-6. Love my list and how LE is positioned in the meta. Huge congrats to
@PivoUlivo
(for winning), to
@ProSkill_Genius
for getting the first Q, and also to my friend
@Thatted_Blue
. Cya in Prague!
Lost in the finals of the showcase qualifier :( I tested with
@GuI_Dukat
and I think scales was a really good choice overall, and so far I'm confortable with this 75. Maybe next time I'll win (and hopefully play better, exp in top8)
*Me*: man even if you play a top tier 5-0ing a league is very hard, a lot of things have to go right in order to win 5 consecutive games of Magic
*Other people*:
Made top8 in the Standard Challenge with stock MonoW. I think Loran is a good maindeckable card in this meta. Still unsure if this version is better than the one with wraths. Thanks to all
@CamioncioTeam
as always. Sadly I threw away G2 of the quarters!
#BAUGG
4-0'd the Prelim with this yesterday. Still unsure if I should follow my heart and register the deck for the PT.
Atraxa is pretty good, md Typhoon meh. Prps to
@CamioncioTeam
as usual.
Fired 3 bullets in the standard open, didn't get there. Went 6-1 into 6-3 in the showcase playing like trash in the last round. I'm tired, tilted and angry with myself. These are the weekends where I feel I'm wasting my time playing mtg.
Made the finals of the Modern Chally with Yawg. Still unexperienced with the deck, I spent most of the games clicking buttons. Only conscious decision I took is to play 61. Deck's good, my manabase is not. Thanks to
@PiemontiAndrea
@Mengu09
for the insights.
@CamioncioTeam
Got super lucky and sneaked in as 8th, but I forgot to restart mtgo and the client got super laggy, timed out with lethal on board. We take that I guess
8-2 in the Showcase with trusty Phoenix. In a shocking twist of events, Ancestral Recall is still the best card in the format. Dunno why people keep playing Shredder over TiTi, makes very little sense to me.
Lost in top8 in the pioneer challenge with this nice list I netdecked. I always lose in the quarters when I top8 bc it's 5 am here and I'm super tired. Still glad to top8 an event, my last two months were terrible result-wise.
After years of failures, unlucky topdecks from my opponents in tight spots and a lot of testing, I finally did it! Thanks to all my testing team, this result is a dream that comes true. I love Magic.
Got a consolation prize for yesterday making top8 in the modern challenge. Deck is super resiliant and I won on t2/t3 multiple times. Got destroyed in the quarters against grixis lurrus which is by far the worst mu.
4-0'd the prelim with THE PERFECT LIST of Elementals (just kidding, manabase sucks, but I like how straightforward the md is). Had an insane amount of luck and won some weird games. Not sure if the archetipe is where I want to be tbh. Thanks to
#TeamCamioncio
as always.
#BAUGG
Top8d the standard showcase with 4c adventures; I'm fairly sure this deck is the best thing to do in t2 right now. I'm also proud to announce that from now on I'm a member of team
@BlueprintMtg
and I'm super happy to prepare for events with some super good players!
Forgot to post yesterday, but I top4'd the standard challenge with a very stock list of the best archetype. My personal tweak was to play 14 cards in sideboard, because the game failed to add the 4th Duress and I didn't notice till round 3😅
*Wizards*: earns 800 millions from MTG in one year
*Also Wizards*: wait do we need to actually play with the cards before releasing them??
*People*: wtf are they doing...??
*Wizards*: we perfectly know what we're doing!!
*Also Wizards the same day*: bans a random card in historic
lost in the finals of the lcq against
@MauroSasso2
. Pretty heartbreaked rn, as my dream is to qualify for the pt and it's the third time I come one game away in the last six months.
5-2 in the
@InsightEsportCA
5k. Faced a ton of hate but the deck is just great (and it's a blast to play). Timed out R1 with the win on board bc I was multiqueing the standard challenge, I was too greedy😬
#TaCteam
@TaCTeam9
won a lot of pixels playing for fun on this nice videogame. Deck is fine but I got very lucky against ramp and the mu seems very hard. I went 3-1 and 0-1 in the other run I did with other list of the same archetipe and I concluded that mire triton and Tibalt are not very good.
@MagicOnline
you won't hurt my plans today bc I've already planned to go to cinema expecting the pioneer challenge not to fire, but I appreciate the attempt.
I spent most of my day feeling a complete idiot bc of non-mtg related things. This evening I opened goatbots and noticed Mox Tantalite and Lotus Bloom spiked bc of a synergy that doesn't exist. I feel so much better now.
Forgot to brag about my impressive result yesterday: I managed to fall asleep during the quarters of the standard challenge. It was just a few moments, then I woke up and regurarly lost. Thanks to all
@CamioncioTeam
for making it possible. Very happy about the deck though.
After a little testing here's where I ended up with Winota. I'll not be playing the deck in the manatraders bc I'm concerned about the Niv's matchup and Ub control and Lukka are not ideal either, although more winnable. I played a lot of this deck in the past, but I was 1/x
Top 8 in the standard Challenge with a stock list of MonoW "Biancone" Control. Had a great time hanging around on discord with the rest of
@CamioncioTeam
. Would maindeck Farewell next time.
Had nothing to do in the afternoon so I played the standard Challenge and randomly top8d it. No new cards bc I forgot Kamigawa came out. I think a BWx strategy will be top tier in the format, not sure if Blue is needed. List is copypasted ofc.
