about the unnamed assistant: 1. i was aware of an npc who mentioned kaveh in the workplace. however, 2. i didn't bother checking what he looks like because i drew this in a daze 3. i made up a guy and it turns out he looks almost identical to this npc. yep im a psychic.

It was pointed out in this thread but there are many other cons in EU that are much more promising, if smaller- but they're safer, respectful of artists whether they're pros or hobbyists, and cheaper for better accommodations. Don't be lured in by the 'prestige' of large cons.
