@kevinudlmerry @AdvanceHE @hack_kay Taking a break, zooming out, applying my skills to different sectoral challenges all helped my head clear a bit post pandemic. I didn’t realise how tired I was. I’m alway ALL IN or not in at all which makes HE difficult sometimes.

@Charlesknight We used to have a thing where if you could show up with a job offer from somewhere (usually outside academia) that matched the salary of SL (pre-92) then The Dean could automatically promote you in the next round snuck into the pile with the other applications

@Charlesknight When you hassle academics it’s just spam too… I try and do twice as many as I ask for, but it’s a very weird economic model any which way you cut it.

@Vic_McC I presume that I can read this out to students though so it explains why I’m acting so weird. I’m trying to calculate what happens if they’re filling in the survey and they come close to me… to I have to keep a 2m distance?
