I have worked in a Florida law firm for 7 years.
This test is not a metric of my ability to practice law and should not be used to bar people from entry to the profession.

Hi I'm just a law student but it absolutely matters how long ago it was. There are these things called statutes of limitations that control whether you can bring a claim.
The limit in Florida for fraud is 4 years I think.

A lot of those resources were allocated to other counties as the projected path changed multiple times in the days before the storm. The resources that were available were quickly overwhelmed because of the shortened time period. They simply weren't enough.

This may be a niche issue, but it definitely doesn't do anything for your mental health that the same people who grilled you in your CF hearing about your whole life are the ones proctoring the exam and looking over your shoulder. Loved that whole experience.

How about when they're medical patients and the doctor suggesting they stop gives zero alternatives to treat their pain or anxiety? Provide alternatives and the patients may be more inclined to at least try abstaining than with the suggestion of quitting with no safety net.

Just to be clear: I am a retaker, this is my 5th attempt on the Florida bar exam. The difference this time is that I actually had ten solid weeks to devote to study, every day.
The Bar Exam tests privilege, plain and simple—that's why it should be abolished.

The space in shelters was not adequate. They also require that you bring only the bare necessities of your belongings and frequently do not allow pets. The track of the storm was such that even inland areas were inundated by flooding, which also affected shelters there.

I failed the bar for a third time. I wish I could tell you by how much, but yet again the Florida Board of Bar Examiners cannot manage to find a way to make their site able to handle the traffic which they know is coming, on the two days a year they themselves choose.

This is why I try to keep saltines and pedialyte in the house. If I can stomach the salines, it helps to get something in my stomach to make the nausea go away. If I can't tolerate the food, I'll grab the pedialyte.
When all else fails, Ensure or equivalent helps, too!
