They don’t seem to have any idea of the real world consequences of those decisions, prices will increase, jobs will be lost, new roles won’t be created and ultimately a lot of SME’s will close. #Clueless
Any other small/medium business owners get annoyed watching these politicians talking about economic growth when they’re about to bring in biggest tax increasss (rates,ni) on businesses for years. It’s like they’re taking the piss! #SmallBusiness

Decisions made by people who don’t live in the real world. Local restaurant failed after 17 years, 30 lost their jobs & now there’s no VAT/paye/Ni to collect anymore 🤔

@UKHospKate @pub_that We’ve had around 20/25% increases in 2023/24 food costs and I’ve been informed by suppliers that this will cause another 15% in 2025. Vat needs to be reduced for hospitality like our European counterparts.
