Public biographies of Gov. Gavin Newsom have long touted his baseball career, including that he played at Santa Clara University. But he was never on the roster, among other misperceptions of his accomplishments. Newsom has not corrected the record.

Gov. @GavinNewsom just approved a $25 million fund for California to sue the Trump administration. What began as a priority for the governor in the days after the November election has now been dumped on a Friday afternoon without a signing statement:
