@tejman18 @zwiz422 @annonyms_ghost Nashik district has two municipal corporations, double the district area than Nagpur district which corresponds to more population in the district which results in higher GDP. For more clarity, see the GDP per capita which is high for Nagpur which gives a clear picture.

@tejman18 @zwiz422 @annonyms_ghost I mean to say about Nagpur's "attention" on the expense of Nashik's "neglect"

@tejman18 @zwiz422 @annonyms_ghost You categorically denied that Nagpur's GDP is more than Nashik's GDP. I did not deny that Nashik is not an economic centre.

@zwiz422 @tejman18 @annonyms_ghost Nobody reads real GDP, the only measure for GDP is nominal and PPP. Even our country's and state's GDP is measured in nominal terms.

@zwiz422 @tejman18 @annonyms_ghost This was for FY 2021-22, I am quoting figures for FY 2022-23, see below. At least read properly what I am stating.

@tejman18 @annonyms_ghost GDP of Nashik was ₹179426 crores while that of Nagpur was ₹181665 crores in FY 2022-23. Even on a per capita GDP basis Nagpur is higher than Nashik.

@cricketbetting @jimmyshoe22 @Betfair Nagpur has two cricket grounds one at the city centre, which is the old one, and another at its outskirts, which is the new one.

@SJahirabadkar @sameerdontulwar @Nilaakash83 @InspireeMilions No. You are thinking as of today but we are thinking about the future. The phase 2 would be connecting satellite and industrial towns located in Nagpur rural with the city which are also part of Nagpur Metropolitan region.

@InspireeMilions @SJahirabadkar @Nilaakash83 @sameerdontulwar And Punekars need to stop protesting against infra projects. Pune still does not have a ring road while Nagpur is completing its outer ring road.

@SJahirabadkar @Nilaakash83 @sameerdontulwar @InspireeMilions Pune missed the infra bus long back. They should have had the metro by the 2010s. Even the metro was conceptualised in Pune before Nagpur. It is just that it was executed very well in Nagpur as there was no opposition to it.

@Nilaakash83 @SJahirabadkar @sameerdontulwar @InspireeMilions The average ridership is 1 lakhs and it is increasing.

@SJahirabadkar @sameerdontulwar @InspireeMilions @Nilaakash83 Yes we do need a metro, not for today but for the future. We don't want to miss the bus for upgrading our infra like Pune did by just opposing the metro.

@SJahirabadkar @sameerdontulwar @InspireeMilions @Nilaakash83 Why does Nagpur not deserve a fast implementation of the metro? There people have welcomed the metro construction and there has been no opposition just like it faces in Pune regarding alignment and land acquisition. This is pure hatred.

@dna Not Pune, but Nagpur's chaiwala Dolly. A simple google search would have done the trick. Lazy journalism.

@Shrikant_Bhande @TOI_Nagpur Mathura has an oil refinery even though there are no oil wells there. Atleast make sense of what you state.
