The story flows through trad-tech, and reminds us how much we’re ‘locked in’ to platforms, how closed networks trap our data and our digital selves. We live and work for big tech, and we don’t have a choice. Fun thing is, web3 comes on the scene and gives us the possibility to choose, to own our data, to leave an app or service if we wish, and not to suffer. This is an article that I’ve wanted to write for years, but the time was never right. Blockchain was slow and clunky, privacy tech was inefficient. Now it’s different, now we have the choice, and the tools. Now is the time to ✨choose privacy✨
