Often criticized but you’ve got to hand it to the gaa. At times of death/tragedy I don’t think any organization comes near it in terms of support & rallying around- always look out for your club mates/friends- they’ll be the 1’s that’ll carry your coffin. 😢 🙏🏻 😢

Player welfare is supposedly a massive thing yet we have young boys starting out at senior county level playing 3/4/5 games in past few days between club/county & sigerson- where is the sense in it 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

We get a young lad picked to represent ulster at u15. Great achievement, 1st time for the club. County board fix u16 county semi final on same day. we ask opposing team 2 change day NO. We ask county board-NO it’s not an official competition so won’t change game.. load of crap !

Why not have players only allowed to play in sigerson until they are out of the competition.? County managers basically sticking 2 fingers up at the competition by playing players in league games 2 days before. Where Is “player welfare” or even better common sense ???

No harm to nobody or any other sport but there’s nothing that can match the GAA. We’ve won intermediates, junior, all Ireland Gaeltacht’s etc. but To win a senior championship with your club must be unbelievable- never stop dreaming 😊🙏🏻😊

My dad was heavily involved in gaa back the late 60’s & 70’s with Mulroy Gaels. Eastfield used to be the main hub of Irish activity on a Sunday due to large Donegal/Irish community in the gorbals/kings park areas of the city. This is him in the middle of this pic.

It’s some disaster for clubs not to get the chance to go into ulster this year. Club championships have been great & now we’ve to put it to bed for a county championship that most likely won’t go ahead at all.

Not an original point and an obvious one, but the difference in how AFL coach fielding is unreal. Timing is perfect, never caught standing under the ball, always protect themselves.
