It isn't about moral positions or triangulating the character of electeds, but exercising leverage to push our political lines forward. We needed a counter-weight to Zionist influence in local politics. This is a small step towards that while we develop & organize broader bases.

@LunaFlickrRedux I don't think anyone advocates for two states around here anymore, the internal conflict has largely centered around enforcing lines in the progressive coalition that long paid lip service to Palestine but threw it under the bus at first push.

@Shepherds4Good Not all the chapters that passed a reso are included in the 51, these just include the ones that pass the standards set: automatic unendorsement of any elected that sends aid to Israel, votes for IHRA, crosses BDS line, etc and expulsion of members who materially support Israel.
