Absolutely, but this in my opinion should be an internal process. It's saddening to see that institutions which are monetary in nature come and audit functions of governance that are only indirectly related to monetary issues but largely to general governance. We ourselves need to be aware of this, rather than having imf tell us this.

PKRs lowest closing against the USD since 13th March 2024. Still in a tight narrow band, but the large trade deficits and the reserves coming off are indicating slight pressure on the parity. Time to be on a look out.

@NaveedSavul 100 percent it will, for a year maybe 2 or 3 even. But we have to start somewhere. We could use the danda to soften the impact, but eventually with enough importers when short and enough exporters when long will create market equilibrium in line with intl prices
