December census meal exports were 1,548,029 MT, down slightly from November and up 6.9% Y/Y. Above the 1,296,439 MT needed to reach the USDA, that drops to 1,268,485 MT, or +8.5% of last year’s shipments. MYTD exports now 4,368,651 MT, up 10% Y/Y against the USDA’s +8.0% forecast.

Census DDG exports were 1,063,726 MT in December, up 7.1% Y/Y and a record for December. This puts YTD exports at 12,223,321 MT, up 13.1% Y/Y and the highest since 12,554,979 MT in 2015. DDG exports to Mexico were a record in 2024, they took 2.539 mmt, nearly 200K more than last year. China ended up with 331,394 MT, their highest since 2021 while Vietnam took only 1.022 mmt, their smallest total in 5 years.

US ethanol exports were 194.4 mil gallons, up 24.9% Y/Y and a record for the month of December. 2024 YTD final exports were 1,914,132 mil (1.914 bil) gallons, up 33.9% Y/Y, a record, eclipsing the prior record of 1.704 bil in 2018.
