When I was 17, I came within a devil’s breath of taking the final leap (literally) in a suicide attempt. I was in a dark lonely moment, and I just wanted that pain and terror to end— more than anything I could think or describe.

"Raising the debt limit" has nothing to do with funding future programs. This is about covering the insane debt rolled up by Trump's corruption and largesse. The GOP is basically refusing to pay the insane bar tab they racked up.
Senate Republicans didn't *block* a bill.
They voted *IN FAVOR* of the US defaulting on the national debt - which will tank the economy, cost us 6+ million jobs and lead to trillions in lost wealth for everyday Americans.
The GOP hates America.
