Ask about diarrhea/check stool sample for protein losing enteropathy. Plasma albumin should also be low.

Check urinalysis, 24 hour urine protein, and serum albumin for minimal change disease.

Consider minimal change disease, protein losing enteropathy, CHF, and hypoalbuminemia secondary to liver failure

@PediMGHHMS3 Start with NS boluses (200 cc). Fluid deficit is 1000 cc (500cc in 8 hrs, 500cc in next 16 hrs). Maintenance is 40 cc/hr.
