For my PA/DE/NJ kids keep waiting on that D1 offer and those PSAC/MAC/Centennial offers you had that you overlooked will be gone too. Go where you're wanted and needed slots are filling quickly. There are dawgs at every level at every program.

A D2 kid who might be a interesting pick for the Eagles in Day 3 is @walker_kishawn. Very physical corner who anticipates routes very well & has height and weight to transition to the NFL with his high football IQ. Played at Georgetown & WKU before finishing at Kentucky Wesleyan.

Class of 23 if your recruiting has been slow don’t be alarmed the portal will run rampant for the next 4 weeks but after early signing day on 12/21 FCS and D2s will give much more attention to the HS recruits. Those in the playoffs focus on winning now and recruiting later….

Unless there's some things going down in Lock Haven we were unaware of this is terrible. He was a first year coach in an total rebuild situation after the top LHU players transferred during the COVID no 2020 season. He deserved at least 3 seasons to be properly evaluated.
John Kelling has been released as head coach at Lock Haven. Always enjoyed my time with @JohnKelling37 and @KellingMegan Wish you the best in your next endeavor.

I truly respect @SJPrep_Football for how they go about scheduling. Man their OOC games are always tough which in return helps them prepare for the PCL and state playoffs. Starting with a scrimmage against a tough St. John's team, then IMG, St Peters, Lakeland and Don Bosco 🥶.

I don't think people realize how big of a deal this is for not only the Public League but for the city. In the last 20 years of covering Public Schools in Philly I can't recall football player get offered & commit to an Ivy League school from a neighborhood Public school.

Congrats to @TepFootball alum Sr. LB @_AminBlack who was just named to 3rd team All-CAA Defense team. Amin tore his ACL in his junior season in 2019, battled back to have a great senior season helping @NovaFootball win the conference title & advance to playoffs once again.

The resurgence of the @MLK_football should be documented on a streaming service they’re having a great year & 2 think just 2 seasons ago they didn’t win a game until the last game of the season scoring a total of 23 points in 8 games. And now Friday they play 4 a division title.

In 18 years of playing in the Philly Public League @TepFootball has only had 2 seasons with losing records & 10 seasons with double digit wins. Outside of a 2019 loss to @NEVikingsFB they haven't lost to a PL team since a 2013 Thanksgiving upset loss to @MLK_football. Quite a run.

With limited scholarships for 2021, 2022 due to the extra yr of eligibility if a skilled player with no offers for odd reasons has a D2 or D3 offer on the table, take it quickly, show out on the field, get your film & with new transfer rules you can transfer up D1 w/o sitting out.

I don’t think enough can be said for the run @WyoFootball had this year. 13-1 is pretty darn good. Their kids played their heart out, kept battling and were 8 seconds from the state title game. Coaches were very gracious in defeat and they had a great band, cheer and fan section.

Those committing early to D2's, remember early signing day is only for FBS/FCS so that commitment is just a verbal one until February, you may get an FCS/FBS offer before national signing day, you may not, treat all offers equally with as much gratitude for a FBS as a D2 offer.

@coachbone_ What's insane coach is these fake schools are extorting so much many from these kids with false promises. I'm always advising opt for JUCO and burning a year or two of eligibility at a legit program than trying to prep a year and end up burned out of $5-15K when program folds.
