Advocacy Forum-Nepal, in collaboration with Judges' Society #Nepal, hosted a two-day #Judicial #Dialogue on Case Management in #Courts on 24 and 25 January 2025, in Bardibas, #Madhesh Province. #Judges from the #District and High Courts discussed the growing caseload in courts.

Advocate Basnet, representing a juvenile with the changed name Okhaldhunga (G), filed the petition with the Supreme Court of Nepal against District Court Okhaldhunga and Child Reform Home, Bhaktapur, on 21 January 2025, requesting the court release the child to parental custody.

Mahendranagar Bench of High Court Dipayal issued an interim order in response to a public interest litigation writ petition filed by AF and other human rights organisations. The petition seeks accountability from Mahakali Sugar Industries Private Limited and local municipalities.
