Especially if you look at how some of the Dem candidates that claim to be progressive are taking money (in @Alyia4ALX case it was a huge amount) from a donor that almost exclusively gives to MAGA Republicans. He sits on the board of Blackstone Group so a big developer

@justindotnet @GOVERNING One only needs to visit Charleston, SC or Savannah to see how much historic preservation has done and continues to do for their economies, their visitors, their residents. Old Town, and Georgetown in DC, and places in Boston and even Providence share some of these characteristics
