One of my unpopular opinions is that genius level intellects should avoid medicine. It is not a very cognitively challenging field. It only requires pattern recognition, some empathy and considerable attention to detail. But thinking out of the box is neither encouraged nor.

Are most of us doctors mildly autistic or at least on the spectrum???……. Myself included …. We’re intellectual, .analytical, .can have well conditioned empathetic human connections in the doctor-patient setting . but . outside of this…. on a social level we are a bit lost.

I would not like to ascribe a lacunar infarct in a 17 year old girl to prediabetes. Have genetic causes like DADA2 syndrome been ruled out?. What do the rheumatologists say?. @Rheumat_Aravind @dr_immuno29 your opinions please?. #MedTwitter.#NeuroTwitter.#Strokeneurology.
