Let teachers teach and remove unnecessary meetings and bureaucratic work. Education is life! Many teachers I know are in this situation.
My mom has seen her grandson one week out of his life. I invited her to visit during her winter break from teaching. I said I'd buy the plane ticket (short flight), and she'd stay with us. She said no, she'd be too busy grading papers. Am I wrong to be angry/hurt about this?

“Decentralization” is the new gold.
What crypto protocol ultimately “wins” is in my view simply decided by which one is the most decentralised, in the sense of the most distinct and organically activated entities producing blocks for the network and directly interacting with it or validating them. It can’t just be users, because centralised tech for the masses is something we already had, and that belongs in another category. It can’t just be value either as we have seen corporate entities printing their own coins and financially upholding it as a sort of central bank. You can mix them up with decentralised crypto protocols all you like, just like how you may have men joining women’s swimming competitions these days, but it does not make it the same thing or a level playing field. BNB being a larger coin than ADA is a pretty meaningless statistic. I get not all in the crypto “industry” may like this take, as it directly threatens their business models, but this is the philosophical stream within crypto that I represent and will fight for. Right now the top 3 is something like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano.
