Exciting to see the Old Plank Road Trail extension project taking off. It'll bring a new trail connection to the Chicago Southland, connecting Illinois and Indiana. A report published last month identified the best route for the roughly 10-mile extension.

Let's clear those sidewalks of snow so that pedestrians have safe place to walk! Shoveling sidewalks is not only the neighborly thing to do, but it’s also the law in many places, including Chicago.

Cook Co. is looking for your input to make streets safer. In a virtual meeting tomorrow evening, staff will share crash info and emerging trends from the input they’ve already received from community members. They'll also be asking for your input.
