It would appear the disengage is still alive & well. I didn't test the normal DBL Mug, only the 33.
But the crash down disengage was coming in frequently.

Very similar nerf that DBL Mug received. The OLine logic/targeting is just improved making this style of defense worse.
Also - I believe DBL Mug gets better sheds & angles out of the pinch/crash down.
