The Garikipati Lab wrapped up 2024 triumphantly with 3 publications: (2) methodology papers for their work with small nuclear RNAs/circular RNAs. And a collaborative publication with David Goukassian on sex-specific responses to a western diet and the impact on cardiac function.

Oniel Salik & Henry Cohen (Elrod Lab) had an outstanding showing at the Cell Symposia: Mitochondria in Spain this week. At the world’s most premier mitochondria conference, Oniel was the sole winner for his work. Henry was selected out of 250+ abstracts to give a talk. Great job!
