We don’t normalize overweight. We persecute it. The relation of weight to health is a lot more personal that you think. As a dietitian, the least healthy folks I encounter tend to be thin. Many clinically obese people are metabolically healthy. There is complex association.

You are right that obesity is a contributor to chronic disease. But, there is an explosion of eating disorders in young people too. So, there is currently an epidemic of over thin, and unhealthy thin. As any psych counselor you know. We can’t assume & judge is all I’m saying.

I’m jabbed. I know it’s the right thing to help end the pandemic for everyone. A few folks can’t get jabbed because they are too young or ill. I get jabbed so they will be safer. I don’t hate those who choose not to, but I am sad & frustrated that their choice is extending this.
