Reflecting today after an interview workshop with @IUMedSchool’s amazing Med-Peds applicants. This time last year, I had no idea where I was going, and I really struggled with that. MS4’s— it gets better. Things are scary but amazing things work out in the end. #medpeds #mp4l

Being there to support someone is just as important as the dose of Lasix I was about to order for him. Amid all the learning of intern year, I mustn’t forget that. #MedEd #humanmedicine #MedTwitter

Late post, but incredibly grateful to be a part of this research! Thankful to have gotten to work with some folks on the cutting edge of endovascular techniques.
Excited to share our experience w @vena_medical microangioscope📹 in a rabbit model, studying flow diverter endothelialization of @Medtronic Pipeline Vantage. Thanks to @SVINJournal for publishing #OpenAccess

This happened across the street from my weekly clinic last night. A horrible loss for our community. There is so much we could have done as a community to prevent this from happening.
A sad scene on 38th and Arlington. Neighbors, friends and family gathered as first responders investigated the fatal shooting of community anti-violence activist Ron Gee.

We sometimes forget how hard it can be to plug into the medical system, and we take for granted the effort to coordinate care up to the initial visit. Here’s hoping, though, that this is the beginning of some good things for my patient! #MedTwitter

Explored a little of Indianapolis during my first week of intern year. As stated by a wise bench: “When I came here, I was looking for a community. Then I realized I was helping to create one.” So excited to get to know this community over the next four years!! #mp4l

Instead of expanding affordable housing, we are punishing the very people who need our help. Homelessness is often a product of circumstance, not choice. Truly disappointing.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court ruled today that cities can punish unhoused people for sleeping in public, even if they have nowhere else to go. We cannot arrest our way out of homelessness.
