This year again, some of our incarcerated Muslim brothers and sisters, most especially individuals who are currently incarcerated but have not yet had their trial , get little taste of the Ramadan of Muslim prisoners They get a little taste of the confinement, loneliness restrictions, etc.. But remember: some of the closest moments they can have with Allah [swt] happen behind these bars. We try to inspire them to turn to Allah (swt) in their seclusion and loneliness - and they just might taste a sweetness they ’ve never tasted before. Please do not forget our Muslim brothers and sisters behind bars in your dua Please help! Look around your home for unused Qur’ans, Islamic books, Hijabs, prayer beads, scarves, prayer mats, Abayas, and thobes that are neatly used and kindly send us a DM. We 'd work with the Chaplains to distribute them to the Muslims they serve each day Last year, during the holy month, we distributed over 3,000 islamic books and the Quran to our incarcerated brothers and sisters.
