Shock?! Trump campaigned on his plan for peace deal between Ukraine and Russia. His plan has always been the same and very clear. Nothing new here.
MAIL: Trump’s shock call with Putin to end the war - but will peace deal betray Ukraine? #TomorrowsPapersToday

Turkey will likely be hosting the talks!
Trump said he held a "lengthy and highly productive phone call" with Putin, and they agreed to "immediately" start peace negotiations. Trump said they “talked about the strengths of our respective nations, and the great benefit that we will someday have in working together"☮️

I don't understand this mindset, specially from a journalist. What's devastating about these two countries begining talks to end their war? That's how wars end. If they reach a deal that would be good, no?!

African institutions like the @_AfricanUnion and its member governments need to stop begging for aid. Zimbabwe’s government has no excuse—it should take care of its citizens. The country is rich in resources and has an educated population. The problem isn’t capacity; it’s leadership.
In Zimbabwe, USAID announced a $100 million project to rehabilitate 40 dip tanks and drill 20 boreholes for livestock farmers. This would have protected thousands from drought and disease outbreaks. Now, these critical water sources and disease prevention efforts are at risk.
