I am so very proud of my friend and colleague Sharon for submitting her PhD thesis today. Through various challenges she has persevered and made her way to this incredible achievement
I started my academic journey almost 9 years ago with an access into higher education @WiltsColl. I then attended @BathSpaUni and today submitted my PhD thesis @UniofBath. What a journey!

@TessRugg Thanks, one of my bridesmaids is incredibly talented at dressmaking and was able to take a nice but fairly plain, simple second hand dress and do all the alterations and customisation to make it into the perfect maternity dress for me 🤩

Particularly enjoying listening to service users and carers who are taking part in research. It reminds me how important it is for us researchers to listen to the experiences of our participants and not lose that connection throughout the whole of the research cycle

Happy #InternationalWomensDay I recommend following @PayGapApp which does great work putting the facts out there about the gender pay gap of companies who tweet about IWD. Tweeting is easy, actually acting in ways that promote equality is harder and much more important
