As a medical officer in a tertiary hospital in Nigeria, I once was on call for five days straight.. I never left the hospital premises. I fed on junk and slept in a call room did have a bath for 3days.

This particular patient came in as an emergency and with team work and prof’s calm guidance. We managed her to we discharged and planned for definitive treatment. Prof kept saying with his usual nice tone

I exposed the cranium in about 5mins and prof was really glad

I just went to a private clinic to see a doctor and the consultation fee is 5k. 5k!! As in five thousand naira just to sit one on one for less than 5mins with the Doc 🤯 I don carry my ass home

I recently did a myelomeningocele and instead of the regular 5layered closure I did 6layers by tucking two edges of the thoracolumbar fascia one over the other water tight and continuous

Man had TBI with acute epidural haematoma.
I couldn't believe I was standing over the head of a man with the skull exposed and the brain pulsating.🥺🥰
