I’m not a single issue activist.
You will hear me talk about trans rights, immigrant rights, disability rights, reproductive rights and so much more.
We are not single issue people so I don’t have a single issue perspective.
We are intersectional. Let’s fight for such.

Reminder: someone having a STD doesn’t make them gross. It also doesn’t mean that they were promiscuous.
STDs can be contracted in a variety of ways. Reinforcing the stigma that people with STDs are “gross” makes us feel alone.
Yes, I have a STD. No, I’m not gross.
🗣️ allow me to ruffle some feathers & trigger your white fragility: a thread 🧵
I am implore every single white trans person to sit back and do some critical thinking.
1. It’s such a stark difference of the media outcry when a Black or white trans woman is murdered.
Breonna Taylor was murdered on March 13, 2020. 874 days ago. It took THAT long to federally charge the police officers responsible.
Brittney Griner was arrested on February 17, 2022. 168 days ago. She received 9.5 years for a weed vape.

The

At a time that we are worried about MPX, polio, COVID, and overall public health, the CDC is reminding us that immunocompromised, disabled, and elderly folx do NOT matter.
Keep that in mind.
People are outraged. People are yelling. People are looking for ways to react. Listen up.

I’m going to be honest…
Neither Harry Potter nor Chick-fil-A are worth disrespecting the lives of queer folx.
Y’all so unseasoned & boring.
I’d rather play Fortnite & eat Popeyes.
😤
You don’t have to be trans to stand up for trans rights.
You don’t have to be Black to stand up for racial justice.
You don’t have to disabled to stand up for disability justice.
All you need to amplify a marginalized community is a kind heart and a willingness to learn.
💭
Raise your hand if you’re tired of white trans women with huge followings making the Black community seem transphobic for asking for respect.

re: Keffals & Kiwi Farms
Buckle up & settle in because some of y’all need educating and this is not my full-time position, but I have the time.
I have never interacted with Keffals but we have followed each other for awhile now. I just broke the mutual.
(1/7)
The way that Black women are treated, murdered or alive, is disgusting. Black women are the backbone for so much.
Black women are disproportionately affected by a slew of diseases: heart disease, cancer, and the justice system, nationally AND internationally.
Fuck.
(2/2)
Dear white people, I implore y’all to keep the same energy that you have for white marginalized folx for BLACK marginalized folx.
Stop praising us when we experience trauma. Stop banking on engagement through “I stand with you” posts.
Have a blessed day.
(6/6)
I feel the urge to speak about it. It’s definitely not something I hide. I joke about it all of the time and I have mentioned it on stream a few times.
However, I need y’all to know that people with STDs hear and see your ignorance.
Don’t be a dick.
🌟 MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT 🌟
I am now on the Board of Directors for
@TransLifeline
🏳️⚧️🥹♥️
I’m beyond excited to take my activism national with a great organization supporting me 🤓
so much money in such a short time. I am a full-time employee and get paid WELL and yet, she raised more than my salary in two days. Think about that.
I have seen so many BIPOC trans friends on the TL scream into the void for a dollar and it takes months to reach a goal.
(2/6)
🌟 white queer folx are… 🌟
aight, settle in y’all. I will be very direct and vulnerable in this thread.
Ready.
Set.
Advocate.
So the issue with white queer folx like Keffals or Jeff is that they have a huge following of people who genuinely look up to them.
(1/11)
I have also seen many white trans folx struggle with the same. I will not pretend that there are more issues than color here. However, pls remember that even if you’re white AND marginalized, you’re still white. So let us, BIPOC queer folx be upset and talk our shit.
(3/6)
I think the wildest thing is when I was 17 and my mother found out I’m gay, the first thing she said was “I can’t wash my clothes with yours. I might catch something from you.”
Welp, here we are.
Do y’all understand that? BIPOC folx have to comprise who we are on the daily to SECURE A BAG. That’s wild.
Anyways, I’ve seen a slew of BIPOC, specifically Black creators get swatted and no one came to their rescue financially.
(5/6)
I’ve known had it since January 2020.
After my engagement ended, it made me feel so unattractive and everyone I’ve been into after the fact, put me down. I’ve told 4 potential partners.
1) told me I was gross and that she would never touch me.
Life is not fair. We fight to get 1k followers and if we ever get there, it’s so fucking hard to maintain both your SANITY and following. Let’s not even add that some of us feel like we have to be quiet on certain topics, just to get a bag.
(4/6)
2) screenshot me telling them and put it on socials linking a_typicalqueer for all to see.
3) also told me that I wasn’t worth touching.
4) ended things with me the day after I told them.
It takes a lot to feel attractive or desired but I just wanted to speak up for others.
Now more than ever, the black community needs a way to find, uplift & advocate for each other. There are a lot of black content creators on twitch and no way to connect with one another. As such, we need to acknowledge the need for a black tag.
RT pls ✊🏾
Pls stop telling Black individuals that we sound “white” when we sound “educated.”

the trans community but to also acknowledge the harm that you have caused to the Black community. Pls remember that Black trans women are the backbone for so many of our queer identities and we should honor them and those after them.
(6/7)
This is a reminder that while trans people ARE marginalized, the whiteness of a trans person will ALWAYS come first. Your privilege is still very prevalent.
Aight so boom, congrats on being verified
@keffals
but I’m calling on you to not only stand up for
(5/7)
We are stronger together than divided. Any harm to a community member is harm to all of us.
Pls stay safe. Pls keep advocating. Pls keep pushing barriers. However, until I feel safe, as a Black non-binary person, in your presence, I will not be consuming your content.
(7/7)
your opinion on the topic is not of my concern.
Kiwi Farms is a crappy site and should not exist. Keffals is a great trans activist and should not be harmed. However, she is racist. I can’t fully support her knowing both sides.
(4/7)
Keffals is a strong trans activist that has gotten a lot of hate and has been put in life threatening situations. That’s a fact. I do not think that anyone is debating that.
However, trans activist or not, you can still be a racist. & here comes the dichotomy…
(2/7)
Black creators are not wrong for continuing to stream and keep their affiliate/partner contracts.
Black people still have to eat even if twitch does not stand up for us.
Two things can be right at one time: the platform does not respect us AND some of us need the paycheck.
As a member of both the Black community AND the TGNC community, I am torn between effective activism for the trans community and the overshadowing and clear disregard of the Black community. Quite honestly, if you don’t identify with both…
(3/7)
You know what I’ll be blunt.
A hate raid does not compare to losing your life senselessly.
Twitch barely did anything about the hate raids. They dropped the ball on a bunch of diversity celebrations. All of this and I thought,…
(1/4)
@keffals
I appreciate your prompt response to this even when you’re going through a lot.
As activists, we both know that our words are very important. Thank you for acknowledging your mistakes and noting a willingness to do better.
I hope to see that come to fruition!
‼️ new thread alert ‼️
Are you a queer creator? 👀
Respond to this tweet with your name, pronouns, the type of content that you make and your links 🔥
Let’s showcase each other yo!
Plus we have to mindful of the social media outrage and panic that we see for white trans women that are murdered versus the disrespect and lack of acknowledgment that Black trans women receive when they are murdered.
Be real y’all.
It’s a Black and white issue. Literally.
2/2
I’m not okay. None of this is okay.
I realize that I am doing a disadvantage in my activism if I do not mention the following:
I am tired of always having to be strong. I am tired of not feeling like I have a safe space to just break when this happens.
1/4
However, white people gon’ white people. I just wish it was not so overt on the timeline. I wish that he apologized, took the L and grew from the experience.
Nonetheless, here we are.
1) DEAR WHITE QUEER PEOPLE, your whiteness comes before your queerness 24/7.
(7/11)
This is a women’s rights issue. This is a trans rights issue. This is a non-binary rights issue. This is a Black rights issue. This is a disabled rights issue. This is a immigrant rights issue.
This is a human rights issue.
We must stand in SOLIDARITY to fight back.
YES I GOT THE JOB OFFER BABY! 💕✨
Guess who will be working on high-level immigration policy issues and relocating to NYC?! 😉
And the $$$? Wow doesn’t even compare to what I was making at my previous position 😩💕✨
Dear white people,
I encourage y’all to know the difference between white privilege, white supremacy and white fragility.
The differences are eating y’all up.
Try harder to undo the racism that’s embedded inside your souls.
💭
but some* of our white counterparts do not do the same. I admit that sometimes you may tweet before you think or you just didn’t have the insight beforehand. However, if a GROUP of BIPOC folx are trying to educate you on your lack of knowledge on the subject matter of
(3/11)
They both have had opportunities to dial it back and apologize for speaking over folx who are more marginalized them because of their skin color and experiences. It breaks my heart that activists like myself try our hardest to make good decisions and be held accountable
(2/11)
Let’s acknowledge that.
Keffals is Keffals. I have tried to be kind and will continue to do so. However, she has continued to bully BIPOC creators and even use them as memes now(?). All while claiming to understand racism and bigotry…but you’re perpetuating it? Idk.
(5/11)
3) white trans people ARE marginalized but they are NOT the blueprint + again, your whiteness comes before your queerness. Bullying BIPOC people for your cult like ways ain’t it and I stand by that.
(9/11)
4) seeing white queer creators have TENS OF THOUSANDS of followers and cause blatant harm like this is hurtful. I would LOVE to have that kind of following to help make EFFECTIVE and IMPACTFUL change while also being held accountable for my shortcomings.
(10/11)
diversity, that is your opportunity to sit back, listen, take accountability and move forward. It is not an opportunity to silence us, speak over us and block us for genuinely trying to help you.
While both creators caused a ton of harm, their harm was different.
(4/11)
5) Have a blessed day. Y’all are tired and I’m done giving y’all the time and space to make me feel any type of way.
6) ANYWAYS, for the folx that are true advocates/activists for the BIPOC community, queer or not, what are y’all up to today? I’m bored. 🙃
(11/11)
unpopular opinion:
I find it both ridiculous AND interesting that this white man did the BARE MINIMUM against racism and got an increase of 22.3k followers for it.
YET, Black activists like MYSELF stand out against this shit on the daily and get CRUMBS.
What the fuck.
2) seeing the word NIGGER used by a troll online is jarring AF. I have had it happen in multiple hate raids/attacks and it hurts every single time. I cannot just “not give it attention.” My people are dying because we are Black. So na. It’s gon’ hurt.
(8/11)
Hi Keffals, previous mutual here 👋🏿
When are you going to use your platform for good? When are you going to use your privilege and “fame” to help bring real discussions to the table?
Most importantly, when are you going to respect and acknowledge Black folx?
Lmk.
🗣️
The math isn’t mathing there so I’ll leave that where it is.
Jeff is a strong creator with amazing ties and has done DOPE work. However, whenever it has come to BIPOC issues, they have fallen short time and time again and it breaks my heart because I care for him.
(6/11)
Can we get some hype in the chat? I just accepted a job!!! I’ll be a program manager overseeing a staff dedicated to providing HIV services regardless of the patient’s income.
Start date: 9/20.
LETS GO 🔥💕
Hi,
@TimothyNerozzi
let’s be very clear here:
@SamuelLJackson
said NOTHING wrong.
What is happening is a clear racial issue. While so many people with uterus’ are affected, we cannot pretend that Black and brown women are not disproportionately affected.
(1/6)
I am 100% not okay. The world feels heavy. It’s moments like this that I hate living alone and being so closed off to friendships and not close with my family.
I can’t get over the fact that I spent years going to that very same supermarket.
(1/2)
twitch = lack of representation.
Like the platform is actually diverse AF but we aren’t showcased for it. A trans tag is necessary. A black tag is necessary. SHIT YO, let us create our own tags.
It’s wild that we can just allow people to find THEIR people.
‘na they’re going to say something about THIS. Blood was shed.’
I was wrong. Twitch did the absolute bare minimum in terms of acknowledging the mass shooting in Buffalo, NY.
As a Black creator on twitch, I am not that surprised.
(2/4)
Ha, funny. I guess that I would say the same about ALL media.
Dare I even say, I’d say the same about the federal government.
I see no difference on how Black lives are treated in politics, law and media.
The erasure of Black lives is happening everywhere.
(4/4)
White people in all forms can be annoying.
White people who are disabled, trans, or whatever marginalized identity still have to do the work to be better.
WHATS NOT CLICKING 👀
It’s the fact that the queer community is supposed to just go to work tomorrow and act like this weekend didn’t shift us yet again.
We’re supposed to care about zoom meetings, deliverables and managing our boss’ expectations while we are literally being murdered.
Wild.
As a Black individual living in America, I am furious.
As a Black New Yorker, I am terrified.
As a Black queer immigrant, I am hopeless for this country.
What can we do next? As a community?
Twitch has been neglecting the worth of our lives for too long.
(3/4)
Dear performative nonblack twitch creators, pls give the Black community time before y’all ask us to speak on our trauma.
I can’t wait to see who uses this moment to capitalize on Black trauma and go viral for saying something that we been saying.
Wild.
I’m excited to announce that I have been elected to be a Co-Chair of Trans Lifeline’s Board of Directors.

THE SHOOTER WAS NOT A TRANSWOMAN.
Hold on.
A creator made Black creators feel small, blocked them and never truly apologized…then gets the honor of being accepted into a program for queer game changers?
What it must be to be white.
If a Black person did that, they would have been blackballed.

Let’s normalize streamers raiding and leaving.
Streams take a lot out of us and it’s okay to take care of y o u. I’m just honored to be raided by you ♥️🔥
Big facts 💥
My ex-fiancé left me after I got my brain injury because she “didn’t want to date someone with a brain injury.”
Twisted, right? Yeah, I’m still getting over it and it’s been years. I’m terrified that I’ll never move on from the breakup.
These hate raiders are absolutely gross. They really made a whole Instagram for ya queer AFTER trying to hack into my Twitter and Instagram accounts. Also, peep the names of the accounts that followed me while I was live 😮💨 let’s be clever yall.
You cannot advocate for one and not the other.

wow, let at the perfect example of receiving feedback and taking action. great leadership on the queen's part.
I hope that y'all leave her alone now and KEEP THAT "activist" ENERGY FOR YOUR WHITE CREATORS.
dear companies,
updating your logos for Pride month does not mean anything if your policies and practices do not match.
seriously,
an unapologetically queer person.
Wait, am I wrong to say that my pronouns are not “preferred” and that they’re just my pronouns? No ifs ands or buts.
I’m working on advocating for something and I want to be fully educated before I go down this rabbit hole.
Allow me to very clear:
- your apology should be AS loud as your disrespect.
- if you issue an “apology” and the people responding or accepting your apology are not those were affected, you’ve failed.
- unblocking folx is not enough.
(1/2)
Being marginalized does not automatically make you a good person.
A queer person can be a shitty person. Just remember that they are not a shitty person because they are queer.
Trans lives. Indigenous lives. Disabled lives. Brown lives. Black lives.
These are some* of the lives that deal with oppression and injustices on the daily.
All lives do not matter until marginalized lives matter.
Miss me with the “all lives matter” narrative.
💭
Also, if you notice any creators NOT speaking on the latest drama, that’s okay.
Some creators are tired. Some creators have nothing additional to add. Some creators don’t pay attention to drama. Some creators focus on creating.
It’s okay for them to disassociate.
Stop.
