@DomD0minics Part of the benefit of them increasing their cosmetic output is the fact that we'll get skins that cater more to some people's tastes than others instead of just getting low-risk skins that people think are just kinda ok.

@doodlelyfe_1 Same as it ever was, limited resources forces them to prioritise profit at the expense of the game. Bad for the devs and bad for the players, the only people who benefit are the moneymen. (And the Kiriko and Mercy mains too ig.)

@OWCavalry @emonggtv Maybe this is cope on my part but Rivals doesn’t have to make new characters so much as they have to move existing characters into a game, which has got to be simpler on a bunch of levels. Not to say I that makes it easy, but they have decades worth of blueprints to build off.

@VentureUpdates_ Damn Venture got a pretty nice deal. I love that all of these are situational but still viable. These perks will breath some much needed diversity into OW's gameplay. Mirror matches are going to be way more interesting now thank christ.

I genuinely feel like they'd be making more money if they just made solid, creative, stand-alone movies/trilogies that exist in their own world. The fantasy of having all the marvel characters in one shared universe just doesn't seem to work in film the way it does in comics.

@Skell_374 I think people get a bit tribalist about this and start making it a matter of theft. Like the infamous "Paladins steals hero concepts from overwatch" meme from like 2017. If anything I prefer it when games I love try to pull inspiration from each other, it's neat!
