Baldur’s Gate 3 becomes so incredibly good later. You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into. Act 1 are just babysteps.
I haven’t completed it yet, but discovered some insane moments & great secrets not many players will see. Definitely one of the best games EVER made.

BG3's actually done some great spacious narrative design work teaching the player to trust the systems through amusing & dramatic failure outcomes, tempting them away from save scumming without designing in hostility to it - it's *persuasive design* rather than *punitive design*
