Using @EPA figures, but the GHG emissions are equivalent to taking 137m passenger vehicles off the road - that is 50% of the US' cars! That's massive.
This translates into: ✅Cutting the equivalent emissions of 137 million vehicles per year ✅Protecting public health - avoiding 1000+ premature deaths in 2030 ✅Providing flexibility for power companies to implement the transition while protecting reliability and consumer cost

New @EPA proposals would radically reduce fossil fuel emissions in the US - could be v significant for the US hitting its targets - and keeping the rest of the world on track to net zero. Plus would reduce pollution in communities who have suffered the most from power plants.
