So, I was off the grid when the news dropped last week but I'm beyond excited to finally show you what me and the team at
@fx_hash_
have been working on for the last 6 months. I'll share some more of the process and thoughts behind this project in the next 10 days leading up to

Entangled is a special onchain generative art collection exploring the interplay between physical experience, digital interaction, and quantum mechanics
Ok, so a lot of people have been asking me for code/writeup of this so I made a stripped down example (works with an infinite amount of windows) so that you can look at to get the basic gist of it (that's all I have time for now, sorry!).

You can see what happens if I connect an external screen to my laptop here. (My external display is obviously not vertically aligned with my laptop display here but you get the point)

12million particles, 5768x1080, 30fps.
Will be shown on a 20x4meter projection surface alongside some of my favorite artists in the space next week. More info to come
So, I'm getting a bit further on my cross window rendering experiments. I've added some damping to the window movements and I'm currently working on some particle animations. The tricky part is keeping the particle movement completely deterministic and in sync. Getting there!
Does anyone have any experience using window.screenLeft and screenTop to match content drawn on a canvas across windows? It seems like these properties are lagging behind so it's impossible to get it to line up while one is moving the window. Scaling works fine though...
I feel the need to address something that has become a a bit of an issue after I posted some
#wips
of my work that went viral this week. A lot of people keep pushing for me to publish the full source of the artwork in the video, even before I'm done with the piece myself ๐งต
After more than six months in the making I'm finally ready to release my latest generative art series:

Had an idea of how to do this. Fairly complex implementation. Worked on first try. Made me feel like a superhuman! (until I realised it's not gonna work for what I was gonna use it for ๐ช). Anwyays, spherical reaction diffusion particle attractor.
So, I have a pretty big announcement:
After more than eight years of dedication to the studio that I cofounded back in 2015, I have decided to step down from my role as Creative Director, Software Developer and Partner at

.

Also, please excuse me for not getting around to replying to everyone. I still have lot's of work to do and I did not expect this to gain so much attention. Peace ya'll! <3
Can someone please develop a new dating service to counter this development? Maybe something like headspace for dating. Courses in healthy relationships, dating culture, sexuality etc. This is a dead end for humanity

I've received a number of requests for reserve list spots the last day and I've lost track, I'm sorry. I've decided to give away 30 randomly selected spots.
Please leave your wallet address below and I'll select 30 random adresses 24 hours from now <3
I'm excited to announce that my latest long form generative art series "Immaterial" will be the first release of 2024 on Art Blocks.

I have mostly shared the interactive previews of
#entangled
but I actually really enjoy the singular, 'untangled' pieces as well. I've spent countless hours tweaking the dynamics of these electron cloud like movements and I'm quite fond of the result.

Hey
@elonmusk
! Whatโs stopping X from enabling artists/developers to share real time running JavaScript (properly sandboxed) on their feed? Would be an awesome feature for creatives working with code ๐ค
Actually, I was just made aware by someone on Instagram that this could easily be recreated using AI so no need for me to open source anything after all

I'm reluctant to open source the parts of my code that I consider specific to my personal style or artistic inclination (that I have spent years developing). Also, I dont't think those parts could help a lot of people besides if the goal is to straight up copy my work.

So, since the release day for Entangled is finally here I thought I would reveal another little detail about the series. Did you know that interaction between windows isn't only confined to entangled pairs?
Public mint opens at 1PM EST/19.00CET
I used to think artworks with flowers as itโs main motive had outplayed itโs role. That was until I saw these reduction woodcuts by Gordon Mortensen (thanks

)
I wanna follow up with a list of people who are a lot better at sharing code and resources on generative art/creative coding. From the top of my head:
@shiffman
,
@gorillasu
,
@mattdesl
,
@mrdoob
,
@marcinignac
,
@sableRaph
.
I know there's plenty more, please help me add to this list
Happy holidays everyone! I'm really grateful for all the inspiring people I've connected with this year. I hope you all have some time to relax and recharge. ๐ค Bjรธrn

Those of you who recently started following me should know that I'm trying to work professionally as an artist, with code as my main medium. This means that the code I write is very specific to my artistic vision for any given project.
(5/n)
1. It should be written with care and maintainability in mind.
2. It should be well documented.
3. It should be useful for other purposes than just one specific use case.
4, The developer(s) should be committed to maintainting the repo
