1. How many deposit accounts are advertised as credit products? 2. When the overton window of bank underwriting doesn't encompass the entire populace, why isn't self custody an option? 3. How liquid is the market for bank licenses?
Repeating a thing I have said many, many times: Deposit accounts are a credit product. If you have one, you were underwritten by the bank for it. If one is declined a deposit account, that was likely an underwriting choice.

Token grift aside, I must applaud the a16z folks for having theses which they back across the years. They did gigster for no code, many shots at incentivized learning, many shots at ugc data, and a few others. ymmv, this is purely an outsider pov.

PoW is excellent for bootstrapping permissionlessly, can't do that with PoS.
@DennisonBertram terrible idea, PoW is wasteful and centralizing. I regularly control the Ethereum blockchain for 12 seconds dictatorship mandates alongside a huge bunch of people.
