My aunt used to sell sukari nguru; broken down into small pieces each selling at 1 bob. One day I took one of the pieces, licked it, then returned it back.
It's sad but this actually happens a lot in Luo Nyanza. I remember when I was younger there was a mum who poured kerosene and set her 8yr old daughter's hands on fire for stealing 10bob... Such stories are many and should be broadcasted more to put a stop to them!
