One minute they just want to be gay, then they’re turning your entire party into a bunch of simps for degeneracy.
This has got to be one of the biggest moral conundrums we face as conservatives & Christians Hate the sin, love the sinner. Meaning being gay is an action, not an identity… I really like Scott, but it’s unreasonable for him to expect every conservative to have his back in this… I don’t know the right limit for shame for actions… social media really seems to amplify any kind of criticism… I’ve met Scott… I’ve hung out with him, I’ve seen the effort he’s put in to the “MAGA” movement. It is without a doubt, honorable. But…. there is that part where he is gay & the Bible informs us that it is an abomination.. maybe it means that it is an abomination to the soul & to the future of a bloodline…. Obviously he cannot reproduce in gay actions. So the fundamental standard I promote *get married, stay married, have children* is something he doesn’t represent. What is the proper amount of criticism? Are we allowed to be friends? Support each other?…. I think so… I don’t see how it benefits anyone to shun him from our movement… it’s not just because he’s useful, it’s because of his dedication, work ethic, and effectiveness. Scott has done more than 99.9999% of MAGA people in this Country. He is undoubtedly unique and talented. I personally see it like drunkenness. A temptation that is nourished, developed, and learned. Some are more prone to be susceptible to it than others, but I don’t believe it to be inherent. So in a way…. I understand folks being repulsed by two gay men lusting over each other… and I also see the criticism of it…. It just sucks how ineffective and rude social media comes across to seem like bullying instead of guidance or love. I don’t see it as a black and white issue because people are so flawed, and our world is filled with so many sinful temptations… best to treat with love, rather than hate. Especially to someone who has proven to be a dedicated hard working compassionate truth seeking person, doing his best despite his flaws. I support @ScottPresler. I see no evil with him… I cannot support the exile being called for. I stand with Scott.
