Ngl, I loved the “hermano” story by Kyrie, I bought it, but his behavior post trade makes me question that there ever was any love for Luka. It all looks so fake to me, only Luka’s feelings were pure. It looks very convenient, that they traded away Luka to build around Kyrie instead of the other way around, like any normal franchise would do. And then they trade for the player Kyrie once said he’d like to play with. Kyrie also didn’t look sad, was immediately laughing with AD at the first shoot-around. Kidd didn’t look sad either. He was only nervous about the negative PR, but I think he was involved as well. Nico looked happy, too. It was those three involved for sure. Always look who benefits and there’s your answer.

I’m not even trying to shade Jaden and Josh Green. But Max Christie plays under control and has a good feel for the game. He looks like a vet out there. Maybe he benefited from playing with Bron and AD. But this kid has been very impressive so far.
