I think this is what makes this loss sting so much more. An excellent Lamar performance was absolutely wasted. All the talk about how he has not played that well against Pittsburgh and he comes out absolutely shredding them but leaves with nothing to show for it.

I want the Ravens to build an offense for Lamar similar to what the Eagles did for Hurts. Takes advantage of his running ability but also surrounded him with perimeter weapons to help elevate the passing game. Enough of the heavy formations and constant FB usage.

Dolphins played a lot more M2M against the Ravens bc they needed to account for Ravens run game. And they messed up a bunch - especially passing off receivers - and left guys wide open.
BUT… don’t think the Bills WR present as many problems as Ravens WR do

- Critical misses in the draft (Elam, Perriman)
- Big contracts on the books for players who weren’t around anymore or barely played (Rice, Monroe, Pitta)

Maybe Lamar could come back and play. I don’t know. It seems nobody knows but Lamar and maybe some people in the organization.
But to tell a player to put a brace on and go play when you admit you don’t know the extent of the injury is in poor taste to me.

I would try to do what it takes to keep Madubuike. Interior pass rush is too hard to find. As much as I love Queen and Stone and want to keep them around so badly, they play positions that the Ravens have shown they can draft and develop well.
The Ravens have good reason to extend Patrick Queen, Justin Madubuike, and Geno Stone right now and pay them good money right now.
And they could end up not being able to keep any of them.

Really unfortunate end to Nick’s tenure in Baltimore. Never seemed to be the same player after his gruesome injury. He’ll always be remembered as a key cog in a historic rushing offense. Underrated pass catcher as well and that part of his game was missed also.
The Ravens have waived veteran WR DeSean Jackson and TE Nick Boyle.
The team has elevated QB Brett Hundley and DT DT Rayshad Nichols from the practice squad and activated WR Tylan Wallace and CB Daryl Worley from IR.
