4 detached dwellings crammed onto a single lot is not “missing middle,” it’s a fucking nightmare. just legalize flats already!
Developers in Portland have built 1,400 new missing middle housing units in its historically low-density residential neighborhoods the past three years alone. That's like building 11 new apartment buildings into single-family neighborhoods without many people noticing.

@mixedgrass666 i should’ve asked but i’m sure that’s not the same store, but the town (Utqiagvik, formerly Barrow) is sorta split into two, like the old and new towns; Barrow and Browerville. I’d bet it’s the same Brower.

@kansalaska it wasn’t always the ugliest fuckin city. we have the planners of the 50’s and 60’s onwards to thank for that.
