It is the end of an impressive era. Today we operate our last passenger flight with a turboprop aircraft. The Dash 8-Q400 with the registration OE-LGI flies as OS 905/6 from Vienna to Innsbruck and back. After more than 40 years, this marks the end of the Dash's time in Austria.

Our first Boeing 767-300ER, the OE-LAT, has left Vienna today. Before departure Austrian Airlines technical staff wrote greetings on the nose landing gear door of the aircraft. Our crew, which is operating the transfer flight, also said "Servus" once again before takeoff.

Yesterday we flew our OE-LPD, a Boeing 777, to @TeruelAirport, Spain. It's planned to store it there for the coming 12 months. Why Teruel? Because a dry climate is best for long-term storage. We are looking forward to reactivating our "Spirit of Austria" after its hibernation! 👋
