@TMTLongShort AI might create a new war but not in the ways we think. Achieving AGI is akin to the Manhattan Project so bombing data centers/TSMC to prevent that makes sense. With AI where is the bottleneck; compute, energy, data etc? AI story is similar to “if you give a mouse a cookie”

I have often criticized German energy policy, specifically relating to Nord Stream 2 and the shut down of their nuclear plants. Very interesting to see the effects of this. If this works, could be a model for the rest of the world. Wishing the best to Germany!
Two years ago, a single wind energy project in Germany with just three turbines required 36,000 pages of documentation. Then they passed permitting reform to cut red tape. Now Germany is a leader in clean energy deployment. Some lessons here for the United States...
