@easyJet denied me boarding in Palma de Mallorca because I have a Romanian passport and I'm going back to the UK, where I have lived for the last 12 years. They asked for additional photo ID which they said would prove I have an immigration status in the UK.

The only thing every political party agreed on regarding #Brexit was that citizens' rights must be protected. That promise has been broken. The most vulnerable are facing the consequences. We need the new government to fix the EU Settlement Scheme.

The masks slips 🫠 when some white posh Brits think of moving out of the UK, it doesn't even cross their minds they'll be...migrants. We need to acknowledge how race and class are what determine whether you'll be considered a migrant or an expat.
Woman is sick of immigration, so she is considering emigrating herself, and becoming... One of those immigrants she hates.
