@colinbodayle It's an accessible, if not dense, read. Technical knowledge of contemporary mathematical logic is certainly not required, as the book spends a lot of time with pre-modern (i.e. pre-Fregean) developments in logic.

@AuroraDevEco It's an interesting question. Logic as a discipline, contra to its early beginnings, is nowadays practised as a subdiscipline of either mathematics or philosophy. In this sense, the (general) history of logic has become entangled with that of these wider disciplines.
