the demo is up! it is still very much a work in progress, but I wanted to make it available for people to play and provide feedback give it a spin and let me know what you think (seriously, c'mon... roast it!)
in Dungeon Shell, you play the part of a curious, yet inexperienced traveler who comes across a dungeon and is eager to explore the dungeon represents a Unix-based file system that our hero must now navigate but it’s a little different than other file systems…

I’m sure it didn’t hurt that when I shared my screen, they saw I was using Neovim btw
- they had sent me a take-home coding assignment that was relevant to the work - I vibed with their engineering team - I did much more than was asked on the assignment, which made a good impression on them - I got a sense of how they approach dev work, and it aligned with me

after weighing all of those things, the 2.5 month contract bit seemed like small potatoes I feel confident I can follow through on my already-good first impressions, and get the full time role and if not? there are still people sending me messages on LinkedIn right now...

I had such a sick idea for a Stardew mod like 3 years ago and of course I can’t remember anything about it now checked my “app ideas” page in Notion and it’s all complete garbage lol
last time i showed people my stardew farm they got worried about my wellbeing
