After getting on the JCR at Rothera on April 7th we got in to Portsmouth on the Hebridean Sky, 60 days later. It was a pretty spectacular trip with fairly calm seas other than a couple of bumps in the Bay of Biscay (see below). Time to assimilate back into society @BAS_News

The Staccato Peaks at the base of the Shostakovich Peninsula, just to the east of the Bach Ice Shelf between the Beethoven and Monteverdi Peninsulas. A lot of the place names on Alexander Island have these musical roots. Taken between Wilkins and KGVI. #antarctica @BAS_News
