I've played The Last of Us Factions for 1.6k hours. I still play it weekly.
It pains me to know never see another iteration of it, after 5 years of being told to "be patient". I wish we had a 4v4 mode like original Factions in TLOU2 at launch instead of having nothing at all.

It's always so beautiful when a video game auteur gets recognized for their stories. There's few writers in the industry quite as brilliant as Sam Lake. Ever since Max Payne in 2001, all the way to Alan Wake 2 in 2023, this man's style and influence is instantly recognizable.

After 22 hours, I've beat Alan Wake II
As a survival horror game, it's the best of its genre alongside Silent Hill 2. Sam Lake is an auteur who constantly improves, and it has culminated in this, an artistically innovative, mixed-media magnum opus.

Final Fantasy XVI promised to be an evolution, but instead it's a big step backwards. Outside of its impressive combat and cutscenes there's really nothing else here, with RPG elements in particular being totally absent. I hope this isn't the future of FF:

Uncharted 4: Survival Mode is so fun and fast-paced, and I can find a match within seconds, even 8 years after release
