Could be boxing, MMA, back yard brawl, whatever White guy is squared up against a black guy He knows nothing about the fighters other than the skin color he can see He finds himself rooting for the guy who most closely matches his race The fight is interrupted with an introduction of the fighters. He learns the guy who looks like him is kind of a douche. He also learned that the other guy is a pretty good dude. He still roots for the guy who most closely matches his race It's a good battle, and he gets caught up in the fight and tosses out a few slurs The opponent wins He throws a tantrum and fires an employee, matching the opponents race, to soothe his feelings It wasn't enough, so he killed a person on the street who was the same race *** Nobody would disagree that this guy is an out of control racist and has no place in society. The problem with the conversation on racism is that there is no consensus on where he crossed the line I can't imagine a reasonable person getting mad at the start. But only a psycho wouldn't draw the line somewhere before the murder. This is the conversation that could unite us if we can come to a consensus
