Checked with the kernel devs, was totally working as intended. Just no one realised the small forces would flip over the gradients like that.
Oh, brb getting bug reports of trees dying in latest release..."

Yeah, how come so many other people
1) Manage to not get drunk
2) Manage to not start crimes while drunk
???
It's like, "Ima gonna just get drunk and pick up my car keys" type excuses!!!
@3blue1brown
They are slowly lobotomising ChatGPT to not do this. :(
But you've got further than I did. I noticed these limitations and stopped trying to push against them in general. Really messes up a lot of (unrelated math even) outputs when it suddenly goes "I can't add 2+2 Dave."

Possibly an old wives tale from countries where they need to boil water to avoid disease. I've visited such places and drinking boiled drinks was best practice.
@Falastiniyye
This is sadly the western world. We want to hear what we want to hear.
(Though this is also true on the other side of the world's extreme, where we are forced to say what they want us to say. Just cultures seem to move to the two extremes. Hope you/we find the balance!)

A sign of a true expert is where they see both value in and accept their limitation of, their knowledge of other areas of expertise.
Thank you Martin. Hope you get to relax after the hard work too!

(I once watched one of these "Turn $10 into $100,000 in 12 months" shows. The "Business man" did it all by calling favours from mates working under the table, tax free back handers and hiding faults/damage in the flipping sales they did)
I would say, as a

my leaving was like an onion. Many many layers were slowly taken down. There are one or two big moments. But it was more gradual than sudden.
I guess it's not true for everyone?

Could have just been a pyramid scam advertising as a "recruitment". I arrived at one for "a certain, we have contacts, job's just around the corner" interview... that seemed to be 100% a front for a high cost low return training seminar.
Do you know what I hate the most about being a JW? I had so many opportunities to have friends and relationships that I turned down because "worldly" or I was confused by being in a cult.
Now I'm out I have zero opportunities to have even a single friend.
Successful failure...

National bank I use to work for downsized it's management and office staff. Then had to rehire people who were on early retirement, who took severance, and who now asked for more money to work part time on return cos it accidentally fired too many.
Though I assume less benefits.

Yet here I am with zero contact a week after mentioning I can see that the religion is teaching lies.
Yep. Certainly no shunning for pointing out actual real faults in the religion, just one time too! /s

This happens to all of us, but I agree more so to women.
My mother went through this massively for over 25 years. Had at least 2 or 3 flair ups that nearly killed her, but never got the tests done in time for it to show on anything.
My bro and uncle got diagnosed though.

I still can't get over how the response to a suspected robbery in the US is to shoot first.
UK would probably tell the callers to check their insurance, or just roll up to chat with the robber!

Yeah. I've worked in those environments.
"Why are you below average?"

Whatever emotion or state, whatever time or reaction, it was always wrong. :/

It's not obvious if it's not proven.
"Celestial spheres" and "aether theory" was obvious to some, thankfully the opposite and tests were more appropriate to others.

Yep. You don't see where the bullets hit the planes that crash... because those ones don't come home.

There is a literal parasitic vine that imitates the leaves of the plants around it.
In tests they used plastic plants, and it copied them!
Seems to be some plants can follow shadows and imitate the shape of the shadow.

This is rather... interesting. Note I didn't even hard copy the "simulacrum" name, and it already assumes I am it... it's "just next token prediction" it's way through the task lol)
⚡️ Well, isn't that something?!
Apparently, there's a bug in iOS where sometimes we can see how ChatGPT interacts with DALL·E in natural language and... well, judge for yourselves!
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES...
@MichaelTrazzi
Yep. Glad I'm not the only one noticing this. ChatGPT training sessions on new collected data would then be able to (assuming, no idea the implementation) exclude it's own content and avoid self reinforcement of halucinations/errors.
@LockedStu
Turns out there's an actual magic formula for this.
The water stays on it's side under a pretence that the glass doesn't tell it air is on the other side.
The water being "denser" than the glass, the door can fool it every time.

Ah yes! IIRC there are some AR landmark apps. Has iPhone got this built in with, say, Apple maps? Point at Eiffel Tower, AR scans it, tells you you are in Paris.

Walked out on a friend never to fix their printer ever again because of this.

I saw a supposition that it may purely be a mass and scale thing. The whales grow faster than any cancer and when adults any cancer us just so small in comparison to the rest if the animal and it's biology (possibly the size of its immune system).

My enjoyment of video games has been ruined when I found out most games are set to half earth gravity. So falling takes twice as long to allow for players to have time to react.
Thought the player jumped to high? Nope, right height, wrong planet!
@SwiftOnSecurity
The algorithm is doing *exactly* what Youtube wanted it to.
More engagement.
If a video is traumatic, you're not going to be able to turn off, because you are curled up into a ball in panic... thus = longer watch time + relief when the 15 adds start playing.
